Where it All Began

We follow in the footsteps of over a century and a half of dentists practising at our previous location, in David Place. This advert was placed in ‘The Jersey Times,’ 22nd May 1855:

“Mr Edward Ash, Dentist of London respectfully announces that in a few days he will arrive in Jersey for the purpose of practising his profession.

Mr Ash thinks it desirable to state that he has made the dental art the almost exclusive object of his study - that all scientific inventions and appliances relative to it have received his utmost attention; and those which experience has shown to be improvements he avails himself of in the exercise of his professional duties.

In other words, both in the performance of surgical operations and in the supply and adjustment of artificial teeth, his principles and practice are those of the eminent dentists of London.

He therefore feels confident of obtaining that large amount of patronage which it has been represented to him a skillful practitioner may rely upon receiving from the inhabitants of Jersey.”

Today, our address is: Silver Fern Dental, 27 The Parade, St Helier, Jersey, JE2 3QQ. We’re at the “town end” of the Parade Gardens, opposite the General Don Statue.
